Spiritual Wellness

Why We Include Spiritual Wellness

We believe health is more than the absence of disease. People are wonderfully designed as integrated beings—body, soul, and spirit—and each aspect influences the others.

Our approach is grounded in the timeless principles of Scripture and more than 36 years of applying the Twelve Steps, Twelve Traditions, and the principles of Alcoholics Anonymous and Al-Anon. Together, they have deepened our appreciation for honesty, personal responsibility, forgiveness, community, hope, and spiritual growth.

Our faith in Jesus Christ shapes how we understand health, purpose, and the remarkable design of the human body. While modern science continues to explore the connections between our thoughts, emotions, beliefs, relationships, and physical well-being, Scripture has long presented people as integrated rather than separate.

This section explains why spiritual wellness is an important part of our whole-person approach to health. We welcome people from all backgrounds and encourage thoughtful exploration, respectful conversation, and a deeper appreciation for the remarkable design of the human body.
